As the thug driving the getaway cart crumples under assault from Kent’s astral-squid arms, Councilor Potellas rises from his hiding place behind the receptionist’s desk to warily survey the carnage.
“Are they gone? What that the last of them?”, he pants, even as he keeps a wary eye on Kent as the half-elf allows his mystic appendages to dissipate.
One of his guards – his hair, skin and uniform stained with bright colors – steps forward with a salute.
“Your worship, we should get you to a safer location.”
Erol straightens his robes and rises up to full height, and acknowledges the statement even while he waves it away.
“Thank you for your concern, Marcus. But after the actions of Master ir’Clarn and his associates, I would venture to say there is no safer location than right here, at the moment.”
The Councilor steps across the room to give Fulton a warm two-handed handshake.
“I’m not sure how you knew to be here, my lord, but I am eternally grateful for your intervention.”
After exchanging pleasantries and thanks with the rest of the party (he remains slightly wary of Kent, but still offers fairly warm thanks), Potellas returns his attention to Fulton, clearly assuming the nobleman is the leader of the group.
“My lord, do you know who these men were? And why they would do such a thing? As a city councilor, I have many political rivals, but could not imagine any of the other councilors or even the defeated candidates stooping to such a level.”
“Perhaps my recent support for your uncle and his push to make Breland more democratic is behind this. Yes, that might be it. The threat of losing some of their power and privilege might make the monarchists stoop to such tactics. Good to see that I can rely on my allies to provide support and protection when needed.”
Erol punctuates the last comment with a comradely hand on Fulton’s shoulder.
“A most noble endeavour, pushing for a more democratic Breland. House Tharashk was most happy to be of assistance in finding the assassins.” Lestor says. After looking at the bodies of the assassins for a second, he smiles and continues, “As the Gods as my witness, I would have thought Roosters could fly.”
“I am sure the Prime Minister will be pleased to accept the support of House Tharashk in his endeavors”, he says as he nods to the half-orc. Turning to look at Kent, his brow furrows as he adds, “Although I confess that I would have expected House Medani to see our efforts as a threat to their privileged position within the Monarchy.”
“As I say, you and your associates have my most heartfelt thanks. I will express my appreciation to your uncle as well, and redouble my efforts to support his reforms. I would like to offer you a selection of my finest wares here in the factory, in hopes that it will help you in your own efforts to free the people of Breland from under the yoke of monarchy.”
He waves over one of the senior alchemists.
“Zari, please see that each of these fine folks has a selection of our best products to meet their needs.” He turns to the receptionist, who has returned from hiding in the break room. “Amber, in the future, Master ir’Clarn and his associates shall be able to purchase wares from us at the preferred discount.”
“I thank you all again for your timely intervention, and do hope that I can return the favour sometime in the future. Please do not hesitate to call on me if there is ever anything I can assist with.”
Erol, his brightly colored guard captain, and the surviving escort leave the building and enter a skycab as Zari ushers the group into the laboratory proper to begin describing the products and helping the group select what they like. Fulton questions her to ascertain which potions had combined to produce the bright colours staining his boots.
Rather than figure out specific stock available, below are the possible rewards and each of you can select items totaling 10 points of value. Items marked with XGE are found in Xanathar’s Guide to Everything, but are also on the Business and Finance page under common items.
In addition, if the group wishes to purchase any of these items in the future, there is no need to spend any downtime or costs to find these consumable magic items. They can be purchased from Potellas’ Potion Palace directly, with a 20% discount (40 gp for common, 160 gp for uncommon, and 1600 gp for rare). If you are purchasing large amounts of a single item (more than 10 common, 5 uncommon, or 1 rare), it will take an additional week for the PPP to supply the extra amounts. If it is ever relevant, the PPP could also specially make very rare and legendary consumables with sufficient time and payment (3 weeks/16000gp and 5 weeks/80000gp, respectively)

If only the assassin that fell to his death was named Turkey instead of Rooster.
Damn. That would have been perfect…
As my reward, I will pick the elixir of health and potion of heroism
